Shafaq News / Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Bashir Haddad said on Saturday that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi is proceeding with selecting ministers who are from the Kurdish share in his transitional government without referring to the official institutions in Kurdistan Region.

Al-Haddad Awo, a member of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) bloc, told reporters today that "we will not vote on this ministerial formation," noting that "Allawi wants himself to assign the ministers who are from the Kurdish share, and we believe that this should be done through the official institutions in Kurdistan Region."

He added, "We will not agree to hold a parliamentary session to give confidence to Allawi government, and we believe that the Sunnis, Kurds, and part of the Shiites not voting on it will lead to the failure of that government to perform its duties."

Al-Haddad added that "if the government is voted on contrary to the law and the internal system of parliament in the form of imposing wills, , it will be born dead, and it will not have international and regional support ."
