Masrour Barzani: We will spare no effort to help those who seek refuge in Kurdistan because of injustice and persecution

Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani congratulated Christians in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world on the occasion of Christmas.

The following is the text of the congratulations:

I extend to all Christians in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world the warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Christmas, and I wish you to spend this happy occasion in an atmosphere filled with security, tranquility and assurance.

Kurdistan Region will remain, as you used to, an oasis of peaceful coexistence among religions and nationalities, and we express our pride that we have been and continue to be a haven for hundreds of thousands of refugees and displaced persons, especially Iraqi Christians and Christians in the region.

Kurdistan Regional Government will spare no effort in securing stability and tranquility and providing assistance to all those who seek refuge in Kurdistan Region because of injustice and oppression, and we hope that wars and tragedies will end in the region and the entire world, and that peace and reconstruction will prevail instead.
