First President of Iraq visits Kurdistan Parliament since its establishment

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi President , Barham Ahmed Saleh and the Minister of Finance , Fuad Hussein visited on Wednesday Kurdistan Parliament in the capital Erbil.

Saleh is the first president of Iraq to visit the region's parliament since its founding in 1990s.

Saleh and Hussein met the Presidency of the Parliament committee and heads of parliamentary blocs to discuss a number of issues, including differences and outstanding issues between the regional government and the federal government.

This is the third meeting for Saleh in Erbil since his arrival on Tuesday, where he met the President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani and met earlier today the President of the Government of the region ,Masrur Barzani and his deputy , Qubad Talabani as well as a number of ministers in the building of the Council of Ministers of Kurdistan.
