Barzani calls on the international community to punish those involved in genocide

Shafaq News / The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani called on Monday the international community to punish those accused of genocide.

Barzani sent a message through social media platforms on the occasion of the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide.

"We send salutations and prayers to the pure souls of the victims of these crimes ," Barzani said.

"We call on the international community to work to prevent the recurrence of genocide and punish those guilty of it," he added.
