An earthquake hits areas between Erbil and Nineveh

Shafaq News / An earthquake hit this morning, Monday, areas between Erbil and Nineveh governorates.
According to the World Seismic Center, an earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale occurred in areas between Kalak and Kwer sub-districts between Erbil and Nineveh provinces.
Residents of Erbil, Kalk, Kwer and parts of Kirkuk said they had felt the earthquake.
No information was received about the occurrence of material or human damage.
