Kurdistan: to pay salaries according to the monthly financial revenues
Shafaq News / The Kurdish Council of Ministers held a session under the supervision of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and in the presence of his deputy, Qubad Talabani via video conference.
A statement issued by the government stated that the meeting discussed the financial situation in the Region and the mechanism for distributing salaries.
According to the statement, after the agreement with Baghdad, the payment of salaries will be according to a mechanism compatible with the monthly financial revenues (from oil and other resources), in addition to the money that Baghdad sends to the region.”
The meeting discussed health conditions and ways to confront Coronavirus pandemic, and the Council of Ministers expressed its regret at the dangerous conditions in the Region due the high rate of infections and deaths, so citizens should comply to preventive measures and health instructions.
The statement indicated that since the beginning of the outbreak, the Kurdistan Regional Government has taken the necessary measures and has been able to control the situation, but unfortunately due to non-compliance with the instructions and measures, the health situation has reached this current level.
