Students go on strike in two provinces

Shafaq News / An informed source said on Sunday, that students of universities started a sit-in and a strike in two provinces in southern Iraq.

The source told Shafaq News that "the students of al- Qadisiyah University   and high school students in Diwaniya province continue their strike and joined the gatherings and heading to the scene of the demonstration and sit-in."

"The students of Dhi Qar University and a number of school students also continue their strike, in solidarity with the demonstrators."

The source pointed out that "a number of demonstrators tried to close a number of government departments, which are deployed around the anti-riot forces."
