Saddam Hussain’s judge afraid of being targeted by Baathists
, Nuri al-Maliki as a result of executing , Saddam Hussein , expressing fears of being targeted by the Baathists .
“The arrest warrant issued against me since 21 days came as a result of a complaint from the Prime Minister and I am surprised as I am one of the most famous judges in Iraq ,”Haddad told “Shafaq News “.
Haddad mocked, “This warrant is a reward from Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki because I ordered to execute Saddam Hussein as I had been promised to be protected and my family , but the prime minister cut financial allocations from me and drove my family from the securedGreen Zone."
“I work currently as a lawyer and if not for the property that I own in Kurdistan , my family would be in the street."
Haddad expressed his fear that "the arrest warrant would be a retaliation by Baathist as a result of executing Saddam Hussein as they are deployed in government departments.”
Haddad revealed yesterday in a statement to " Shafaq News " , ,” the issuance of an arrest warrant against him on the basis of a complaint by Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki for defamation charge “ .
