Iraqi judiciary demands “Interpol “to cancel Mishan al-Jubouri name from wanted lists

Jubouri said in a statement on his Facebook page ,seen by " Shafaq News " , " The presidency of the Public Prosecution Council ofIraq's High Judicial Police called today Arab and international Interpol to stop looking for me and delete my name from the wanted men lists ,the decision came after Iraq’s Appeal approved on all decisions to release me in all cases that I am wanted on them”.

The Iraqi judiciary condemned Jubouri on charges of embezzlement of state funds after lifting his parliamentary immunity and cancelling his membership so he fled to Syria and from there ran a television channel inciting to fight U.S. forces and their allies and promoting for Islamic militants.

Reports indicate the existence of an international arrest warrant issued by the International Police, " Interpol " against him on charges of several issues by the Iraqi government during the previous years .

However, he returned to the country and said that the judiciary exonerated him of all cases filed against him in the evolution in which some see it as done under political compromises as Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was one of its parties and expanded the charges directed by the judiciary to be subjected to the executive authority .

It seems that Jubouri is one of the few Sunni politicians close to al-Maliki, according to what is rumored within the political blocs .

A few days ago , Jubouri said that the judiciary ruled for him to accept his candidacy for the elections and cancel the decision of the Justice and Accountability committee that included him in De-Baathification procedures as he allied with the leader of the Dialogue Front, Saleh al-Mutlaq to contest in the next election .
