Iraqi forces elements fall as casualties by a sniper and a bombing in Diyala

Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell reported on Tuesday that an Iraqi forces member was killed and two others were injured in separate incidents in Diyala Governorate.

The cell said in a statement today that two fighters were injured in a roadside bomb explosion on a force belonging to the Fifth Infantry Division in Umm al-Hinta village in Al-Islah district of Diyala Governorate.

The cell added that a police officer was killed by direct fire by a sniper weapon targeting one of the points of the fourth Diyala Emergency Regiment behind the University of Diyala in Baquba.
