Iraqi intelligence arrests an ISIS member

Shafaq News / The intelligence of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior reported, on Monday, that it had arrested a secret informant and transporter of logistical materials to ISIS members in Kirkuk.

In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, It said, "The intelligence services represented by the Federal Police Intelligence at the Ministry of Interior has arrested a terrorist in Al-Abbasi district in Kirkuk governorate."

The statement explained that the detainee "is wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/terrorism for belonging to ISIS, who provides ISIS gangs with information about the security forces and transfers food and logistical matters in exchange for money."

It indicated that "through preliminary investigations with him, he admitted his belonging to these gangs and was referred to the authorities."
