Iraq and China discuss conducting the 3rd phase of clinical trials of a COVID-19 vaccine

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health and environment announced on Sunday that it is discussing with the Chinese side conducting the third phase of clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that the Iraqi Minister of Health and Environment Hassan Al-Tamimi received today, the Chinese ambassador to Iraq, Zhang Tao, to discuss the COVID-19 situation, as well as cooperation between the two sides on conducting the third phase of experiments for a COVID-19 vaccine".

The statement added that the Chinese side expressed its country's support for all frameworks of cooperation and coordination with Iraq.
