Basra's governor: 15 Trillion dinars budget of the province in 2014

“ A meeting has been held to discuss the preservation plan for 2014 in the presence of heads of administrative units and managers of service departments in Basra as the proposed projects have been discussed for each administrative unit and current service projects and ways to accomplish and solve the constraints , as well as explain financial allocations,” Nasraoui said in a statement reported for " Shafaq News “.

" Basra budget for 2014 will be 15 Trillion Iraqi dinars allocated to five projects , including construction of housing units , solve the housing crisis and the rest of the infrastructure development projects ."

He pointed out that “all projects and designs will be considered by the British company Hill International Engineering Consultancy to avoid the mistakes that occurred in previous projects , as well as the adoption of efficient and discreet companies only,” he added.

The head of the planning committee in Basra Governorate Council , has pointed out earlier , to a delay in approval of 2014 plan and said to "Shafaq News " that the reason for the delay is due to technical and administrative problems , noting , "Everyone agreed that the plans that are relate to projects in previous years was joint plans but not integrated . "
