Basra holds Parliament financial and planning implications for integration of 2014-2015 budgets

“The current parliament will held all the current violations, which will accompany the implementation of the province’s budgets in one fiscal year due to delaying the approval of 2014 budget ,”A member of the Council , Sabah al-Bazani told “Shafaq News “.

“The rate of achievement to all the provinces for the last fiscal year have been mixed , specified by one budget so how is the case if the two budgets merged in one year ."

He noted that " it is difficult for the current parliament to approve the budget , while the new parliament will take time to certify the election results , hold its first session and agree on naming the government and thus the financial year will be almost ended”.

The Iraqi parliament couldn’t till now after the end its period approve the federal budget for 2014 due to disagreements among the political blocs on the terms and clauses contained in the law.
