For the third day in a row, CBI sales in the currency auction continue to rise

Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctioned about $216 million in foreign currency on Wednesday.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that CBI's foreign currency sales in today's auction amounted to $216,508,300, up from yesterday's $210,690,100.

According to our correspondent, 18 banks and 202 banking companies cashed $66,010,000, while the $150,498,300 went to boost funds abroad in the form of credit and non-cash transactions, with 28 meeting those demands.
