Barcelona complete $11M+ Gabriel Jesus transfer

Barcelona signed Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal on Tuesday on a three-year contract, with British media reporting a fee of about $11.5 million.

The 29-year-old becomes Barcelona’s sixth signing of the summer after four seasons at Arsenal, where he made 123 appearances and scored 32 goals.
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022 after six seasons at City, scoring 95 goals in 236 appearances and winning four Premier League titles. His playing time at Arsenal declined amid competition from Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres.
Barcelona had also shown interest in Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, but Atletico ruled out selling the Argentina international to their LaLiga rivals. The Blaugrana’s other summer signings include Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Rodri, Joao Cancelo, and Dominik Livakovic.
