Al-Anbar deputy governor elected investment commission chief

Al-Anbar's Provincial Council accepted the resignation of Yasser Rashid Muhanna Al-Alwani as deputy governor for administrative affairs on Tuesday before unanimously electing him chairman of the province's Investment Commission.
The decision was taken during the council's 12th regular session of 2026, chaired by council head Hamid Dahham Al-Alwani, according to Shafaq News correspondent.
