Trump reveals "radical" measures for Corona

Shafaq News / US President Donald Trump announced during a press conference on Tuesday, that he will unveil "radical" measures that he intends to take to alleviate the economic repercussions of the emerging corona virus, while 3 new cases have been recorded in Washington, DC.

Trump said "I will be here tomorrow afternoon to share with you some of the economic steps that we are taking that will be significant and broadly."

The US President made clear during a press conference with his team dealing with crisis management resulting from Corona epidemic that the measures, which will be announced on Tuesday, may include "potential deductions in salary taxes", which he will discuss with congressional officials.

Trump stressed at the same time that the United States "has a great economy but this (virus) took the world by surprise and I think we dealt with it in a very good way."

For his part, Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchen who participated in the press conference said that "the United States has the most robust economy in the whole world," noting the economic and trade measures taken by the president, put the American economy in a very good position."

In the context, the US capital, Washington, recorded 3 new infections with the emerging corona virus "Covid-19", bringing the number in the United States to 722 and 26 deaths.
