Shafaq News/ Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday, that Fatima Rahbar, a female member of parliament died in Tehran due to Corona virus.

Fatima Rahbar, 56, is an elected deputy in Parliament for his eleventh new session. She was a deputy for Tehran in 7th , 8th , and 9th  parliamentary sessions of the conservative Islamic Coalition Party.

The spokesman for the Iranian parliament, Asadullah Abbasi  said that 23 parliamentarians were infected with "Corona" virus out of 100 deputies who conducted tests.

On Friday, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that the total death from Corona virus will raise to 124 after 17 people died in the last 24 hours.

Iran had announced earlier the suspension of all sports activities and events, in order to avoid the spread of Corona virus.

On Friday, the Iranian authorities imposed restrictions on entering the northern provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran to limit the spread of the virus.
