WHO: New record for daily infections in the world

Shafaq News / The World Health Organization revealed, on Monday, that a new record number of daily infections with Corona virus was registered around the world, amounting to 307,930 cases within 24 hours.

The organization said on its website that India, the United States and Brazil recorded the largest increases.

The daily number of deaths increased by 5,537, bringing the total to 917,417 deaths around the world.

It also announced that the previous record for the number of daily infections on the sixth of September was 306,857 cases.

During the past 24 hours, the United States and India recorded more than a thousand deaths, and Brazil announced 874 deaths.

The record of daily deaths toll goes back to April 17, when the WHO announced 12,430 deaths.
