Sudan excuses the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign affairs from his duties

Shafaq News / Sudan News Agency reported on Wednesday that Sudan issued a decision to dismiss the Foreign Ministry spokesman from his post, after statements in which he talked about “contacts” between his country and Israel.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Haider Badawi Sadiq, took the media into a storm on Tuesday, after described the decision of the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations with Israel as a "brave and bold step".

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed surprise at his statements and confirmed that the government had not discussed the possibility of establishing diplomatic relations with Israel.
