Explosions rock Tel Aviv following missile attack from Lebanon
Shafaq News/ Explosions were heard across Tel Aviv and surrounding areas on Monday evening after ballistic missiles were launched from Lebanon.
According to Israel Channel 13, air defenses failed to intercept one of the rockets.
Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and more than 100 towns and cities throughout Israel. The missile strike also led to the temporary closure of Ben Gurion Airport.
Authorities confirmed at least five injuries.
The Israeli Army reported that 170 rockets were launched from Lebanon toward Israel earlier on Monday.
The attack comes after an Israeli strike on Zqaq Al-Blat in Beirut that killed five and injured 24 others.
