Yemen's Houthis (Ansarallah) carried out six military operations across Saudi Arabia, targeting oil facilities, airports and a military site, the group's military spokesperson Yahya Saree said on Thursday.

Saree listed targets in Riyadh, Dammam, Rabigh and the southern region of Najran, claiming the group used ballistic missiles to strike the Ras Tanura refinery, Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and the Rabigh oil refinery.

In another operation, the Houthis targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a barrage of missiles, while a drone struck King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, disrupting air traffic.

The sixth operation targeted a Saudi military command center overseeing troop deployments in Najran, where the attack allegedly killed and wounded soldiers and officers, Saree added.

Separately, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition backing Yemen's internationally recognized government, said Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh.

Saudi Civil Defense reported minor injuries to one person, while falling missile debris damaged a house and a vehicle in Riyadh. The agency also warned of potential danger in Riyadh, Al-Kharj and the southern city of Najran.

Fighting between the Houthis and Yemen's internationally recognized government, backed by Saudi Arabia, has intensified in 2026 after years of relatively stable front lines following a 2022 truce.

The Houthis alleged that Saudi forces had launched more than 2,900 airstrikes and missiles against Yemen over the previous 100 days, killing or wounding more than 562 people, mostly women and children. Neither figure could be independently verified.

The World Health Organization put the overall toll of the escalation at 1,574 killed and 6,939 wounded as of October 19.
