Ankara denies reports of Hamas political bureau chief's expulsion
Shafaq News / Turkey officially refuted on Monday the reports claiming the expulsion of Ismail Haniyeh, the Political Bureau Chief of the Palestinian movement Hamas, from the country by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate's Disinformation Mitigation Center (DMM) dismissed allegations made by international and Israeli newspapers regarding President Erdogan's purported demand for Hamas officials to leave Turkey.
In a statement released via its official Twitter account on Monday, the center declared, "Claims that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered senior Hamas officials to immediately leave Turkey are entirely baseless." The statement emphasized, "Do not believe these utterly false and baseless claims."
