Security tightens at Green Zone as detainees handed to PMF

Security forces deployed at Baghdad’s Green Zone entrances on Monday as authorities handed a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) commander and several members to the PMF’s security department, while supporters prepared for a protest later in the day.
Earlier today, a PMF commander and three other members were detained, PMF spokesperson Muhannad al-Uqabi stated, adding that a “misunderstanding” surrounding the detention had been resolved.
