Iraqi authorities have appointed Major General Hadi Sarheid al-Kinani as commander of Baghdad Operations, a security source told Shafaq News on Wednesday.
Kinani replaces Major General Walid Khalifa, who has been transferred to the Military Inspectorate, according to the source.
