Drone attack targets Baghdad International Airport vicinity

Two drones targeted the vicinity of the diplomatic support facility at Baghdad International Airport on Thursday, with no confirmed casualties or damage, a security source told Shafaq News.
One device fell near the site after failing to reach its objective, followed shortly by a second that also missed its target.
Earlier in the evening, another Shafaq News security source reported explosions in western Baghdad (Al-Karkh), with initial accounts indicating two drones landed within the facility’s perimeter without interception. The extent of any damage remains unclear.
No group has claimed responsibility, and authorities have yet to issue an official statement.
