An explosion struck the office of a member of Iraq’s Babil Provincial Council on Saturday, causing material damage, a security source informed Shafaq News.
The source identified the targeted official as Safaa Ahmed Razin, who chairs the council’s Integrity Committee. Authorities have launched an investigation, while the circumstances and motive behind the blast have yet to be determined.
