Attack hits security checkpoint in Iraq’s Al-Qaim

An airstrike targeted a security checkpoint in Al-Qaim district in Iraq’s western Al-Anbar province, a security source reported on Monday.
The source told Shafaq News that the strike hit the vicinity of the Jabab checkpoint, adding that authorities have not yet identified the nature of the attack or the extent of the damage.
Earlier today, Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced a strike on its position in al-Qaim killed two members and wounded other.
