of serious crimes. However, stressed in the same time the readiness of the security services to prevent these risks.

In statements to "Die Welt" German newspaper in its edition (the first of November 2014), Joerg Ziercke, head of anti-crime body  said that "German security authorities believes at the moment that among one thousand people, there are 230 committed serious crimes ", pointing out that the number of those, known as sources of potential danger was only 120 people in 2010.

Anti-crime body has classified 300 other persons of being "relevant" to sources of potential danger, since the German security authorities assume the possibility that members of the first group provide logistical support in the preparation for example, to launch an attack.

Ziercke added by saying: "Authorities are currently in the process of 420 investigaations , where 650 people are accused of having an Islamic background."

Ziercke expressed his belief that the source of the biggest risk of attacks from the current “Islamic terrorism,” is zealot’s individuals or small groups.

But the head of anti-crime body confirmed making new attempts to carry out attacks soon , but he stressed at the same time the readiness of the security authorities to cope with it, adding that it will do all it can to thwart these plans "and panic is not feasible."
