Israel carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling across southern Lebanon on Wednesday, as Hezbollah launched cross-border attacks on Israeli military positions.

Lebanese media reported strikes on multiple towns in the south, including areas around Bint Jbeil and Rihan, while artillery fire hit several border zones. Warplanes also struck near Maifdoun and close to Bint Jbeil Governmental Hospital.

On X, the Israeli military claimed it targeted two money exchange companies in Beirut —BOA CHANCE, owned by Hussein Ibrahim, and Trade Point International, owned by Mohammad Noureddine— alleging they were used to transfer and launder Iranian funds for Hezbollah.

Hezbollah, meanwhile, said it carried out attacks on Israeli troop concentrations, armored vehicles, military sites, and settlements along the border and deeper into northern Israel, including a guided missile strike on a force inside a house near a water tank in Qantara and artillery fire on the same location. The group also launched drones toward northern Israeli towns, including Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Kabri, Avivim, Yir'on, Ramot Naftali, Misgav Am, Metula, and Kfar Giladi, and targeted military facilities, while engaging Israeli aircraft over southern Lebanon.

Since hostilities resumed on March 2, Israeli strikes have killed more than 1,318 people and injured 3,935 others, including 125 children and 91 women among the dead, and 429 children and 483 women among the wounded, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry. On the Israeli side, authorities said 6,286 people have been taken to hospitals since the start of the conflict, with 100 still receiving treatment.
