Iranian authorities suddenly closed the country’s airspace at 10 p.m. local time on Saturday, halting all air traffic, a source told Shafaq News.
The measure disrupted a Baghdad–Tehran flight that was preparing for takeoff, with passengers instructed to disembark before departure.
No explanation has been given for the move, and flights to Iran remain suspended.
