Drone strike ignites fuel tanks at Kuwait airport

A drone strike hit fuel storage tanks at Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday, triggering a large fire.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted civil aviation spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi as saying the attack targeted facilities belonging to the Kuwait Aviation Fuelling Company (KAFCO), with emergency teams responding immediately to contain the blaze.
Initial reports indicate material damage with no casualties.
The incident comes as the United States and Israel continue airstrikes on Iranian targets, including Tehran, in a campaign launched on Feb. 28 that has caused significant damage, civilian casualties, and the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei along with senior military figures. Iran has responded with retaliatory strikes against Israel and US military installations across the Middle East.
