Turkmen concerned from the blocs not voting on a proposal regarding their national events in Kurdistan
Shafaq News / The Turkmen Front bloc in the Parliament of Kurdistan Region expressed on Thursday its concern about the fact that the blocs did not vote on a draft resolution (Days of Official Occasions of Turkmen Nationalism), despite the fact that Kurdistan Democratic Party and Christian blocs are the only ones who supported the proposal.
The deputy of the Turkmen Front bloc, Hamidad Sabah said in a press conference today, that with the exception of Kurdistan Democratic Bloc and the Christians , the rest of the blocs did not vote on the proposed draft resolution.
He added, "If these blocs are arguing that the time is not appropriate for an issue like this, because there are more important issues, then we on the Turkmen Front announce that these are not excuses and we call on the blocs to vote on the proposal in the upcoming sessions because of its importance for the Turkmen nationalism in Kurdistan region.
