Turkish fighter jets bomb northern Dohuk , injuring civilians

Shafaq News/ A local source said in Dohuk governorate in Kurdistan Region said on Saturday, that Turkish warplanes bombarded a village north of the province killed two people and wounded others.

" Turkish warplanes shelled this morning, Atit village north of Dohuk, killing two people and wounding another," noting that "the shelling occurred at about 9:30 a.m.,” The director of Dayraluk district, north of Al-Amadiya district in Dohuk, Sami Oshana told Shafaq News Agency.

“The two victims are 60 years old man and his son, 30, as the families of the victims gathered and went to the bombing area to retrieve their bodies”.

“The region is empty of the population after the people of the village left it for decades because of the armed conflict between the PKK and Ankara,” Oushana added.
