The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament to visit Kurdistan Region

Shafaq News / It is expected that the Iraqi Parliament Speaker ,Mohammed Al-Halbousi would visit Kurdistan Region later on Sunday to meet officials and party leaders there to discuss the formation of the new federal government headed by Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi.

The source told Shafaq News, that Al-Halbousi will visit both Erbil and Sulaimaniyah this afternoon to meet with Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani  and the President of the region, Nechirvan Barzani then head to Sulaimaniyah to meet the leaders of the Patriotic Union to discuss the issue of forming the Iraqi government and the Sunni -Kurdish position towards it.
