The President of Kurdistan praises KRG measures and health efforts to combat Corona

Shafaq News / The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani praised the regional government's measures to prevent corona virus.

Barzani said in a news conference, "I want to praise the actions of the regional government in protecting citizens from the outbreak of Corona virus, and in my name and in the name of the region's presidency, we thank the prime minister and his government team."

He added, "I also praise the efforts of the medical teams and the Ministry of Health for their efforts to protect the lives of people."

He added, "Until the end of this month, the procedures for preventing the virus will continue, and at the beginning of next month there will be an evaluation of the conditions."

He also pointed out that the conditions of some Kurds have been affected as a result of the measures, but he said, "Their lives are more important to us, and this situation must be endured."
