The Kurdish president congratulates the Sabian Mandaeans followers

Shafaq News / The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Saturday congratulated the Sabian Mandaeans followers in Iraq and the world on the Mandaean New Year.

Barzani wrote on Twitter, that he congratulates the followers of the Sabian Mandaeans religion in Iraq and the world on the occasion of their great feast expressing his hope that will pass on them with joy and pleasure”.

This day is the first day of the new Sabian year, in which the family gathers and do not leave home for a 36 hours, starting from sunset.
