Snow destroys four car showrooms in Erbil

Shafaq News / The civil defense directorate in Soran district affiliated to Erbil governorate announced on Monday the collapse of four car showrooms in the district due to the heavy snow wave that swept Kurdistan region recently.
The Directorate's spokesman, Lt. Col. Biyar Moheuddin Hamad Amin, said in a press conference today, that 50 vehicles in addition to four car showrooms were damaged due to the snow wave.
He pointed out that since the beginning of February and until now, the civil defense teams have rescued 16 citizens and 9 elements of Peshmerga forces, who were trapped in the snow.
