SDF announces its position on cooperation with the US-led international coalition

Shafaq News / The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced its continued cooperation with the US-led international coalition in northeastern Syria.

The forces spokesman, Keno Gabriel said in a statement "The SDF and the International Coalition Forces have completed the redeployment in the areas of Al-Jazeera Hasaka, Qamishlo, Derek and Deir Ezzor and the continued joint action to pursue the cells of the Islamic State terrorist organization and establish security, stability and protect the population from terrorist attacks and provide protection for all oil and gas fields in the mentioned areas.”

The spokesman pointed out the importance of Russia and Turkey, as signatories of a memorandum of understanding on the settlement of the situation in northeastern Syria, in turn as saying "Stability in the north and east of Syria requires the two guarantors to ceasefire , to ensure a comprehensive cease-fire and work to open the international road (M4) for civilian travel.
