Quarantine imposed on a village in Kurdistan Region

Shafaq News / A quarantine has been imposed on a village north of Erbil governorate after a person carrying Corona virus visited it ,the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced on Tuesday.

“Due to the visit of the mentioned person to "Hostan village " which is affiliated to "Merkasur" district and to preserve the safety of citizens, identify those who were in contact with him, it was decided to impose a quarantine on that village to take a set of tests samples and health preventive measures, a ministry statement received by Shafaq News read.

The ministry expressed its hope that citizens would commit to preventive measures to stem the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
