Nechirvan Barzani to Allawi: Kurdistan supports any amendment in the interest of Iraqis

Shafaq News/ The head of the Iraqi Forum, Iyad Allawi received in his office, the President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed in detail the file of protest demonstrations and the repercussions of the current situation, and stressed the need to speed up the response to the legitimate demands of the masses.

The meeting also warned against continuing to confront these demonstrations with violence , stop the bloodshed and bring those responsible to the competent courts.

With regard to amend the constitution file, Barzani stressed to Allawi and those present that the region supports any amendment in the interest of Iraq and Iraqis as Kurdistan part of Iraq, explaining the importance of resolving the laws of oil and gas , the distribution of wealth , the Federal Court and other laws that would serve the country.
