More than 100 drivers of Kirkuk-Erbil road protest
Shafaq News / A number of taxi drivers in Kirkuk Province organized a protest on Thursday, due to the closure of the road between Kirkuk and Erbil.
Shafaq News reporter said that 112 drivers organized this morning a protest because of the closure of the road between Kirkuk and Erbil since the spread of Corona virus till today, after the imposition of a curfew and the closure of roads among cities.
The drivers told Shafaq News that, "Their work stopped for more than two months," and called on the governments of the center and the region to open Kirkuk-Erbil road.
It is noteworthy that the authorities in the central and regional governments took several decisions to combat the outbreak of Corona epidemic, including the closure of roads among the provinces.
