Masrour Barzani leaves to Germany and announces the most important topics to be discussed there
Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani headed on Thursday to Germany to participate in Munich Security Conference 2020, which will start on 14-16 of current month in Munich, Germany.
It is scheduled that the Prime Minister will meet with several senior officials participating from various countries in the 56th session of the World Security Conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, the prime minister will discuss the current crises in the region with global decision makers as well as future security challenges and other related files.
"On the sidelines of the conference with international officials, we will discuss the sacrifices of the heroic Peshmerga forces in the war against terrorism," the Prime Minister said in a press statement before leaving for Germany, adding, "We will also discuss with them the ongoing terrorist threats by ISIS that require greater coordination by the international community to confront them." .
This is the first participation of Masrour Barzani in Munich Security Conference 2020, since he was elected as Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government last year, but he previously participated in the previous sessions of the conference when he was serving as a consultant to Kurdistan Regional Security Council in the past years.
