Kuwait shows a desire to increase its trade exchange with Kurdistan

Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government(KRG) , Masrour Barzani held a meeting with Kuwaiti Prime Minister ,Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the second day of Munich Security Conference held in Germany on a large international participation, on Saturday.

The meeting included a number of files that dealt with all the current developments in Iraq and the whole region, and the importance of stability in Iraq was confirmed.

Ways to strengthen relations between Kurdistan Region and the State of Kuwait were also discussed at various levels, especially with regard to the economic sector and trade exchange.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister indicated that Kurdistan Region has an important role in the region, adding, "There are many investment opportunities in Kurdistan Region, and we want to strengthen relations, especially trade exchange."

For his part, the Prime Minister of KRG thanked the State of Kuwait for its endeavor to strengthen relations between the two sides, and said, "KRG provides all the necessary facilities to all local and foreign investors."

The Prime Minister of KRG continues to hold meetings with senior global officials participating in Munich Security Conference 2020.
