Kurdistan region stops entry of tourist groups to its lands

Shafaq News / The Tourism Authority of Kurdistan Region announced on Wednesday stopping the entry of tourist groups to the territory of the region from the rest of Iraq due to recording infections with Corona virus .
On behalf of the authority, Nader Rosti said in a statement today that "to maintain the safety of citizens in Kurdistan Region, the entry of tourist groups only to the region has been stopped, starting from Wednesday, 26th of February 2020 and until further notice."
He pointed out, "Allowing families who come with their personal vehicles to undergo a medical test and enter the region as precautionary measures to prevent corona disease."
