KRG calls media to support them in combating Corona

Shafaq News / Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) spokesman ,Jutiar Adel on Wednesday called on the media to help people implement preventive measures taken to curb the spread of the Corona virus and not to spread fear in them by spreading incorrect information.

"We call on all media to adhere to the preventive instructions and the government's policy in combating Corona virus," Adel said at a joint press conference with the Minister of Culture and Youth , Hama Hama Saeed.

"Let us work together to educate people and preserve their health and safety, and not allow the chaos to spread through incorrect and inaccurate information," the spokesman told the media.

For his part, the Minister of Culture said during the conference, "We had a meeting with the media and we should all face this virus," calling on citizens to adhere to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health, saying that "compliance with these instructions is the only way to avoid infection."
