In cooperation with Peshmerga.. the coalition destroys a tunnel and kills 12 ISIS terrorists

Shafaq News / The commander of the Peshmerga Forces axis in the district of Gwer and Makhmor announced, on Thursday, that the international coalition air forces destroyed a tunnel used by ISIS terrorists, stating that 12 terrorists were killed in the attack.
Sirwan Barzani, the commander of the axis, stated to Shafaq News agency, that a tunnel, ISIS members used as a hideout, at the piedmont of Qara chokh, near the village of Ali Rush, was discovered. The international coalition air forces, in cooperation with the Peshmerga forces, launched two airstrikes that demolished the tunnel and killed 12 ISIS terrorist hiding inside.
Remnants of the ISIS occasionally exploits the rugged nature of the mountains in Makhmor and Gwer district to attack Iraqi and Peshmerga forces, even after the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi armed forces and former Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, announced a final victory over ISIS in 2017.
