Good news from KRG for teachers and teaching staff contracts

Shafaq News / The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Kurdistan Region announced on Monday that Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has issued an official letter requiring teachers and teaching staff to refer their contracts to permanent.

The ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Abdel-Rahman said in a press conference today, that the Secretariat of the Regional Council of Ministers issued on Sunday, 16/2/2020 an official letter with the signature of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, in which it was decided to transform the temporary teachers contracts to permanent.

The spokesman called on the Ministry of Education in the region to provide the Ministry of Finance with information related to teachers' contracts for the purpose of completing their confirmation procedures.
