Explosion targets Peshmerga and Asaish force in Garmiyan

Shafaq News / An explosion targeted on Wednesday a combined force of Peshmerga and Asaish in Kifri district.
The incident came after an attack carried out by ISIS militants on Peshmerga forces stationed in Koljo district, Kifri district of Garmiyan administration, which resulted in the death of two elements of Peshmerga.
In this regard, Brigadier Kamal Muhammad, Commander of the 5th Brigade of Peshmerga in Garmiyan told Shafaq News, that Peshmerga and Asaish force carried out a raid and search operation today in Koljo area, and during the campaign a roadside bomb exploded on a convoy of the joint force.
He added that the accident did not cause any losses.
